Super exciting day on Friday last week! (29th of August 2025). RSL has now committed to 10% of all profits to social responsibility. We met with our 2025 partners Emmaus in the morning.
Lorraine Watson, Operations Manager at Emmaus Gloucestershire, said:
“We are so grateful to Resolving Sites Limited for their partnership and for the commitment they have shown to Emmaus Gloucestershire. Their pledge to donate ten percent of all future profits is an incredible demonstration of social responsibility and will make a real difference to the people we support. We were delighted to welcome Simon, Kelly, Tauseeq and Taseer to our Secondhand Superstore in Gloucester, where they had a chance to see our work in action, meet some of our community members, and learn more about how Emmaus Gloucestershire helps people rebuild their lives after homelessness.”
Despite being just a start up we were able to make a reasonable donation on the day as well to ice the first birthday cake.
On the drive down from Shipley in Yorkshire my colleagues Taseer and Tauseeq also were able to pass on the news that we have our first major client! Expecting the donation to Emmaus to be rather larger at the end of the year!
Thank you so much to Lorraine and her team – a great day and a great feeling of being able to put something back.
